i could never bring myself to get one of those guys. I might get a swalesi. The poor man's candy basslet. The crappy thing about them is they are timid and won't come out that often. So its kinda pricey for a fish you rarely see. But i hear they are pretty hardy and resilient to a lot of dieases.

Stocking list for the new shallow reef is going to be
    Swalesi Basslet
Yellow Assessor (taken from the elos)
Target Mandarin (taken from the elos)
Maybe 1-2 Helfrechi firefish or 3 Bangai cardinal fish.

Thai, you want 2 Helfrechi firefish.

Jim, I like gobies. But you should try a ora green mandarin. Yea, was your Lawnmower eating? Because most of these come from Asia, where it's ok to use cyanide to catch fish. Sometimes fish only last long enough to die in your tank. That or you ran outta algae for it to eat. 16g is kinda small for a Lawnmower. Mines ate brineshrimp n Mysis right off the bat.

Lawnmowers like to perch on crap. Mines got stuck to the mp10 once. It learned it's lesson to stay away from it.

Not many options for fish in a 16g tank guys. 75% is gobies. Maybe seahorse, but those aren't very fun.

No more gobies for me, just pretty colorful fish from now on. Stuff to compliment the corals.

Have you tried cyclopleez? Oysterfeast, rotifeast? I got some at the house. Try it out first. That fauna marin stuff is expensive. No lfs carries it. Only online store that has it is cherry corals. Fauna Marin direct is slow.

You need to get 3-5 things right off the bat. Ultra min s, ultra clam, ultra f, ultra pak, ultra lite. And you gotta mix it yourself.

You seen the whole line of FM foods carried at any LFS?

    I need NPS food.

Reef Chili is getting weak response from my gorg.
