try to scratch off that brown spot stuff and see if that helps..

Do you know why the leather may not be opening?

The leather has opened it just has opened the last couple of days that I have seen this is the first time I have been home when the lights are on. Some of the anthelia broke off when I was handling it but not much.

By the way the brown spot on the leather in pic 4 and 5 is the clover looking thing I was talking about that was about the best pic I could get of it.

So we picked up a pair of A. Ocellaris or False Percula. Sonja liked the colors of the Ocellaris over the Perculas. These guys remind me of Trophs they are all over the place and boy once they got into the tank they saw all of the pods and went on a feeding frenzy. See pics below.

    Getting them acclimated

Banded shrimp checking out the action

The anthelia is really taking off

No there all male and only one should turn female when a female is NOT present in the tank. which means you will get a pair anyways.

i would get them the same size and let them morph on there own. I dunno why some one would say get a bigger one.

I know they can change sex that was why I was wondering why you want me to get a small and big one. The only thing I could think of is that the female is larger than the male and this would increase the chances of getting a pair.

when you go to the store to look at clowns there mostly all male. with out the presence of a female, the more aggressive male will become female. Its best to buy a young pair of clowns and let them morph. adding a smaller clown into a tank with a larger aggressive female could result in fighting. This is what info i found on clowns when researching clown fish before i bought mine.
