Thats true I was thinking about adding the lights around the hood outside of the cover but there should be space inside the cover

The ones on the link are simpler b/c they basically make it for you. You can encase it by putting it inside the hood next to the CF lights.
The heat is another story. Unlike HM/HQI the heat does not come from the bulb. The heat on LED lights mainly come from the back of the light (the thing the light is mounted on). You have to some how remove this heat.
Standard practice now is to mount the lights to a heat sink. Your hood should have fans in it already to cool the CF lights so I don't think you have to add any additional fans. Just got to make sure the air is blowing across the heat sink to cool it down.
Might be able to use one of the lower profile heat sinks like these:

I would want the 700mA correct? I would have to find some thing to encase these so they dont get wet right? I could get more of these in the hood then the strip lights. Why would there be an issue with heat?

Maybe try this..... http://ledsupply.com/led-kits.php
Should work fine. You can get more little LED under the hood too. Still might be an issue with heat.

Those are cool but placement in the hood would be a problem as I would have to get the socket for them to plug into which also would raise concerns about moisture in it. Where as something like the strips wont have the problem and all I have to do is use some adhesive and attach it to the hood. http://www.marinedepot.com/Current_U...FILDLK-vi.html

Here, check this out. These are the real deal. Don't know if you can rig it up within your hood somehow but these are NICE!

It can't be this hard Brian!
Honestly, I would just do the standard mods for the chambers in the back in the tank. Should handle most of what you want to keep.

Ok so I am not going to do the separate fuge as someone brought an important point to my attention. Which is when the power goes out the suction on the drain line will go out so once the power comes back on the pump will drain the fuge into my tank potentially causing it to over flow. So I am going with a HOB one or just putting it in the center chamber
