Man, I was thinking of up grading too!

I'm thinking 60p with t5. But no deals popping up yet.

And I have no idea what i will do with this little 45p if I do upgrade.

Here are two shots. Not much but more to come.

This macro grows fast and sucks up nitrates to keep my water clean!

I picked up paly colony last week at CP. This picture is just one frag of it. I was able to frag the main group out into 4 different frags.

It's doing decent. I basically hit up City Pets once a week and add a new frag to the tank.

Looks more like a frag tank then a reef tank. Scape is all booboo and marco is growing like a jungle. I really need to replant and trim this stuff down.

I'll post update pictures after I do some of that.

I cannot thank you enough for posting this. I have never seen planted sw tanks like these before! I love them! They are different from the standard crusty sw tanks I've always seen. I could see myself getting into this.

I'm split on that. I have always used more blue with my corals. There are alway a lot of reports on other forums that zoas (in particular) grow better in all attenic lights....personally I never tried. There are also reports that using only 6700K lights work...it just doesn't look as good.

I can say for sure that corals LOOK BETTER if you are using a combo of blue. When I only use attenics the corals I have look like they glow in the dark.

But dont corals need more of the blue which is why SW lights have acinic lights as opposed to FW plants

Depends on which type of lights you are talking about. But mostly likely yes.

Corals need light like plants to grow. If you are referring to any type of planted tank light then yes.

The more the light the faster the growth.
