black, for sure. seeds looked like this http://sealitsoc.blogspot.com/2010/0...sprouting.html seeds start washing up on shore around end of fall/beginning of winter.

Looks like red mangroves.... Do you see black mangrove seeds around too?

a little update, about a month ago I picked up some black mangrove seeds on the beach and tossed them in my sump. well luckily after adding about 5 they started growing and recently had to hang my fuge light to allow for more growth. theres two that are doing good and a third thats just starting to sprout leaves. heres a couple pics.

20% and no regular dosing. occasionally i might add a calcium supplement.

a few pics i snapped. not much going on with this tank just lettin stuff grow. got an awesome yellow tang, huge blue legged hermit and some new polyps a awhile back
