    yep tator, green hammer with about 20 heads.

    Ok, so I figured out why black mangroves are not commonly used in the aquarium....they take ALOT of magnesium to stay alive enough that you would need to dose. trashing those and trying something else.

    yeah overall the one heatsink was cheaper/easier and i still think the spread will be ok, 10x 10 in only leaves 4in of tank on either side of the fixture, just raise it up a little more.

    might make them dimmable down the road, I can use my reefkeeper to dim them but i would need to buy an ALC module for it which is more money.

    Nice! You will be pleased with the LEDs for sure.

    I see you end up coming with the 10x10 instead of two 4x16. Spread might not be as good.

    You going to make them all dimable?

    yesterday I ordered everything I need to DIY a new LED fixture . Gonna be on a 10 x 10in heat sink with 24 leds 12 blue 12 white. cant wait for them to come in, but probably wont have everything 'til next week sometime. I'll be sure to post the process.
