What does health insurance have to do with fries vs. fruit or a toy in a kids meal? What does heath insurance have to do with anything anymore? Our government already fixed that problem. It's a law now. No more heath insurance crisis anymore, right?

Nope, only about 8milly can't afford it and there are programs for them. The rest need to quit beggin and sell some TV's or video games and take care of their own. That's (if your numbers are correct) 51mil losers out there begging with their hand out and probably a coach purse hanging on the same arm.

Is it Fast Food companies responsibility to keep me healthy or is it my responsibility to get up off my rapidly expanding a$$ and exercise a little and maybe eat a banana for breakfast instead of a sausage mcmuffin? I say it's mine and since it is my responsibility, the same is true for every other person out there. Demonizing fast food won't make people be responsible.

Maybe those kids parents ought to get out of the fast food drive through and sit THEIR kids down at the kitchen table and explain it to them while cooking a healthy meal. They're not my kids or your kids. If they want me helping raise their kids and payin the bills, they better get ready to start living by my rules, otherwise keep me and my wallet out of it because Ima start dollin out some a$$ whoopins to set some parents and their little brats straight.

    You just made my point.

I never said "these are the only things people without insurance spend their money on". This is a weak attempt to redirect the point. FAIL!

My point is, If you have "Bling" or your car has "Boom", you better think about selling some $hi* before you start begging on the streets (from the tax payers and government) for money. Get some self respect and lose the vanity and pride, if you're begging, you can't afford vanity and pride. And asking for entitlements IS begging on the streets.

Yes. It is available to most everyone in the US. WalMart and McDonalds offer employees insurance. If you need or want it, you can get it. Again, without begging on the streets like a crackhead.

    A few corrections here...

    1) Every American has Health Care available to them, not every American pays for it. Heath Care and Health Care Insurance are two very different things. There are emergency rooms everywhere and they WILL NOT turn people away who need emergency care and there are clinics everywhere. Also, you don't have to have insurance to go see a Doctor, you just ave to be willing to prioritize a Doctor's visit over getting your hair and nails done, or buying the latest $100 shoes, or 20 inch rims and 15 inch subs for your car, or XBox/PS2/Wii, or Coach purses, or big screen TV's, or iPhones, or (you get the picture)

all of the major food chains already offer healthier alternatives in place of fries and soda. McDonalds, Sonic, Burger King, etc. They all already offer them, so it won't end up being a problem for them. the ones that don't will start, and life will continue to go on as usual. no one is trying to tell anyone what to eat, only that if they want to give away free toys then they will have to OFFER a healthy alternative, not make the healthy alternative mandatory.
