    Let me correct that the battle remains in Afgahnistan.  More resources need to be allocated there. The resources in Iraq would be very beneficial.

      I don't have much time...I will post a fuller response later. But I will say that the only way Obama moves the country more to the center is if people see what he and the Democrats have truly become then there will be such a backlash that the country will run for the right.

        I agree we will get back to center....will be painful for some more than others. As some said, there is no equality in this country. But we will get there.

          My only advice if Barack Obama becomes president:

          Start making deep basements, people, start making deep basements... and make sure it is liveable for 4 years. Stock it up with everything that you are going to need and make sure to triple lock it from the inside so that the followers of the new messiah can not break in when they finally wake up and are trying to run from him.

                  He has done one thing that maybe no one else could have done...he's made us able to stop worrying about Hillary Clinton (at least for a while). Of course that's like Stalin making us forget about Hitler...

                           many will all be looking for some help      

                        the fuel this election has sparked I hope stays lit even afterward election so American citizens will stop sitting on thier duffs and not tolerate what is being done to harm ALL of us.    they work for us and are accountable.

                              Well, Colin Powell just endorsed Barack Obama so I guess my judgement was wrong. I guess now I am going to have to follow his opinion and vote for Obama.

                              NOT!!! In matter of fact, Powell talked against the war in his endorsement but the FACTS are that he actually was the man who showed the plans of where the labs in Iraq of where the Weapons of Mass Destruction were being built and showed glass tubes of the substance saying that it was proof! Appearantly Powell's hands are now as clean as what we Americans once thought. So hickerz NO, I am still not voting for Barach Obama! Due to the interview that I just saw, my opinion of Powell has now changed!

                                That Powell spoke before the UN to justify the US invasion of Iraq is true...but the speech was written by the CIA based on an Iraqi source named Curveball that was later proved false. CIA director, Tenet , would later call Powell and apologize that the evidence from Curveball was untrue.
