Honestly, I felt like the first debates were a toss up most slightly in Obama's favor
but this time, hands down....McCain won. Let's hope it's enough.

I wish he had gotten angry. Maybe then he would have followed up more on Obama's non-answers to the issues.

                  Re: The Presidential Debate

ABSOLUTELY there was anger. I think it's about freakin time.
I'm angry. I'm angry Obama couldn't answer questions about Ayers and ACORN straight or honestly.
I'm angry American's are so uneducated, I'm angry that his healthcare plan will take away my benefits, I'm angry he was involved in secret alliances and backwards tactics.
I'm glad he's angry. That makes two of us.

That's not to say that I think Obama did poorly, I just don't think he stood out but that seems to have been his plan. It may or may not work, I guess we'll see in 3 weeks.

it angers me when answers to questions have a dance routine attached to them - kids will do that will workin on a believable response - go figure  :?

                          Re: The Presidential Debate

Obama was smoother than McCain was, I'll give him that. But, McCain made valid points and seemed to actually believe in what he was saying. It was fairly close but I think McCain won it based on overall performance and believability.
If McCain wins the election I hope he does the Robot at his inauguration.

Displaying an underlying seething anger to the nation at this time was not a wise move...polls are indicating this visible anger did not serve McCain well...

there are more reasons to show the discontent & seriousness rather than feeling you didn't even get kissed when it was over,   just smirked at.
