      Re: Rain Water Harvesting

Did you want pictures of the 55g drum or the rain gutter downspout ?
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

            Re: Rain Water Harvesting

Actually, it wasn't a single fish
At each show the 1st place fish gets 5 points
the second place fish gets 3 points
and the 3rd place fish gets 1 point.
At the end of the year the IBC totals the points
and the Breeder with the most points gets the plaque.

I think I had 4 first, 2 seconds and a third that spring and 3 first and a third the previous fall.
so I had 11 winning fish in the two colonies.

I thought about harvesting rain water, but don't know how long it will take to make back the cost in equipment.

Last months utility bill was $250 dollars. Most of that was water and the sewer charge is based off how much water I use. I think I could cut that bill by 65% if I got water from another source. I have a fiberglass tank I wanted to use for rain water but I didnt want that ugly thing sitting against the house.

That's a lot for water and sewer. My water and sewer and trash bill was $46 last month.

Made a new thread since we were venturing off topic. Sounds like rain water may be a new deal for me.
