Re: Looking to buy a Pistol

I didn't think the Python came in .41 mag.  I thouught it was strictly in .357 and the Anaconda was .44.

    +2 for quiet....LOL!!!

Re: Looking to buy a Pistol

I was hoping you'd get a 1911. I carried one in the military. IMO, the .45 ACP is an awesome round. Anything that was designed to stop a charging horse can bring down a man with power to spare.

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

I have always heard a good saying....... Its good to have a gun and not need one then to need a gun and not have one.

Re: Looking to buy a Pistol

It's easier to hunt burglars when your flashlight is strapped under the barrel of a gun.

As a good friend of mine once said when I asked him the same quetion.
"I'd rather be in jail for shooting someone,  Than have him in jail for shooting me!"
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

Yeah, it's way easier to change clips when you run out of bullets with your flashlight hanging under the barrel of your favorite weapon!!!!

thats why i like the glock 22.  i have 16 chances to hit whatever im aiming at with a 40 caliber bullet.  I like my odds!

I've got 14 in my XD-45.  If that isn't enough, you don't need to be shooting a gun in the first place....LOL!!!

Well I had 7 rounds in a 12ga Mosburg pump and in the dark, that is not always enough.
Fortunately by the time it went click, the survivors were all running and they didn't look back.
But that click is the emptiest feeling in the whole world.
