Yip, i agree about low ballers or people not showing up but
trust me if you are the one on the wrong end of a deal you are not feeling to good.
Yeah he only wasted my time and gas money but like i said it was his attitude more
than anything else.
At least tell me, look there is a guy on his way if he is not here by XYZ
you are next in line. Imagine i got there 2 minutes before, what about the poor sod who
just spent an hour driving down from Conroe?

Anyway, it's all over now. Deals come and go, i'm proud to say at least with me my word
still counts for something...

So just to be clear, did the guy literally say he was holding it for you when you talked to him?
Or did he just give you the info about the tank and his location for you to come and check it out?

If he did say he was gonna hold it for you, then yes he should honor his word and he is in the wrong, but if all he did was give you info about the tank and directions to comne and see the tank, then I don't see why he is in the wrong.

If you look at it from the seller's perspective, unless he confirmed he his holding it for you, there is no way the seller would know for sure if you or another buyer is going to show up or if ya'll would be no shows. For all we know, he's probably got 10 people that already call and said they would come out but are no shows..

Not picking on you or anything, just playing a devil's advocate here...

But CL. is kinda cazy. I do sale a lot. I had a guy buy from me. Pay me and ask if he could come back and pick the stuff up. I said Yes, and have never seen him again. ben over a year now. How long should I hold his stuff?

I would try to get in contact with him. Maybe something came up and he could not come back to pick it up. If he does not respond then try to resale it.
