Okay, for someone to believe Cap and Trade will work you have to believe man made carbon emissions are causing global warming.
In order to believe carbon emissions are causing global warming you have to make some pretty bizarre assumptions and even then, the basic math doesn't work.
Assumptions:
1. All carbon emissions are man made
2. The only factor in global temperatures is carbon emissions
Here’s the math. There are 388 ppmv of CO2 in the air today, rising at 2 ppmv/year over the past decade.
