the gun will arrive fastest tomorrow (very little chance) latest at tuesday... after that i need to pick a ring for it... a friend of mine has a 700 in 30.06, he mod it with muzzle break and recoil pads, gona test that out sunday, he has the 1inch see-thur ring, which is what i am interested in...Comment

Militec-1 for oil -- absolutely the best out there..
Grease -- use a couple of different kinds. Have not found something I like yet perfectly. I need to go get some more soon and I might spend the money on trying some Militec-1 grease, but I have yet to try it.

For oil I use Break Free CLP, which was what we used in the military. I don't use grease on my guns.
