At Masa the rolls I have tried and liked are:

The John Wayne Roll is my favorite.
    I also liked...

The Godzilla, Red Dragon, Rainbow, Masa Sushi, Space Center, and Tiger Eye.

There are countless other rolls there that I have not tried, but want too.

All of the Sashimi is really fresh, I dont like at all the Sea Urchin stuff or some of the Octopus stuff because of texture reasons and taste. The Sea Urchin just about makes me gag, and most people call me goat cause I'll eat just about anything. That really almost crossed the line.

The sushi is just the Sashimi served on a rice cake and seaweed wrap.

When I am at Masa Sushi, I order

Japenese Nachos half order if only 2 people, Then Johnwayne Roll, 2-3pc Tuna or Yellowfin Sashimi, 3-Sapporro Golds (only place in Houston I have found Sapporro Gold served **another bonus of Masa), and then top off the night with Sake Bombs.

I leave there full and happy.

I have ordered entree's and lots of people love the Hot Rock.

You can see thier menu for lunch and Dinner on their website. Good Stuff man...

Azuma has the best sushi outside of Cali. But the service sucks everytime I go so do not go if you are in a hurry. I have not tried Masa though so i will have to give that a shot.

Asuma on katy or the one in downtown is not bad, but I only order the robata rock with two bottles of sake when I go so I can't say much about anything else.

When you are at tokyo bowl, assuming you like rolls, get the cici roll. It's the house special.

I worked for a Japanese company and they all say Masa No.1 best food best service. Lots of high end company parties are there
