The Upward Bound Program at San Jacinto College, North Campus is currently looking for individuals who are interested in teaching math this summer to highly motivated high school students who will be the first in their families to attend college once they graduate from high school.
Employment will begin onJune 10th, and continue untilJuly 14th. Class days and hours are conveniently scheduled in order to allow for instructors to interact effectively with our students, without sacrificing an excessive amount of their personal time to do other summer activities they may already have planned.
The ideal Upward Bound math instructor will have a Masters degree in math, engineering or computer science and will be comfortable teaching math concepts ranging from beginning algebra thru calculus.
Weekly time commitment will be 4 to 16 hours depending on individual preferences. Hourly wage is 36.00 per hour.
