Well most all "polymer" pistols are similar.... the slide and internal workings are metal. Haven't seen any that had a polymer slide or internal parts.

hey, i think they caught the guy!! i saw it on channel 2 news just a minute ago, where the cvs employee called 911 after an employee was informed. it was in sw houston.

i hope it was the guy, suspect was shot by an officer... ig rather get hit it the head with the handle of a glock than the handle of say a 1911... assuming the striker was the same person in both hits.... in the name of hfb lounge "science" we should test this... hmmmm i nominate... lol

Personal opinions and they are all good. Polymer frames are probably good or there wouldn't be so many on the market.

Years of technical education and support operations management tell me that the marriage of dissimilliar materials in something as serious as a gun isn't for me. Maybe the grips but not in the operational mechanics.

This Obama scare run on guns is a major problem in the making. There are a lot of guns being put in unqualified hands by people making bad choices because they aren't taking time to become educated in what their really buying. It's going to cause an escalating rise in innocent people getting hurt.

obama banning certain guns= certain illegal guns... guns will still be there- bottom line...

assault rifles being banned is just gonna make existing preban guns more expensive... a couple of my friends have enough assault rifle between them to arm a small army...

look at all the non california legal guns... what a joke... i know guys who come out of cali every couple of months who come to texas just to bring back guns... seems like the administration will only curb firearm action by taxing the crap out of ammo... enter the ammo black market... good thing i know a couple reloaders... hehe this guy i know is like a paranoid doomsday type nutjob... sold his house to buy land so he can grow his own food, he's been stockpiling gunns and ammo like ww3 is tomorrow...
