im the type, i would have shot that fool, but hey i was just all up in the store's security cameras n ****... should have called the cops but nothin happened... lesson- dont go to the store in the hood at midnight... wtf could have happened to anyone else or even me if things went real wrong?

I wanna go get my handgun license for this very reason. Especially now that I live on my own I wanna be comfortable in times of desparation. Ive seen what people do during bad times...I saw three fights on the middle of 290 during the last evac.

sometimes things are so heated shot placement kinda goes out the window... yes its fundament. wrong but when it hits the fan, most people would be tryin to get shots down range and gettin tha fck outta there... it takes practice to be cool under pressure, and unless youre military or law enforcement with proper training, youll probly never be "ready". speakin of evacs, my buddy lives in santa fe, and during the rita evac, he witnessed guns being pointed from car to car in gridlocked traffic... screw that... big bullets, and lots of em... capacity vs stopping power is usually the compromise... too bad i sold my ak...

You just landed in jail for the next 20 years for that line.
NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER (did I repeat that enough times) say the word kill. You just admitted to pre-meditated. You are gone for a long time. In the court they are going to ask the cop. Did the defendant tell you "I aimed my gun at the perp trying to rob me, and I killed him, ie he had time enough to think about the situation and make the judgment if he had the time to retreat or MURDER the guy in pre-meditated, murder, or did he tell you, he pointed his gun and in attempting to STOP (this is the operative word) the perp from from advancing on his life, he pulled the trigger and the outcome was the perp was stopped. Unfortunately, the perp was unable to survive the wounds he suffered (two the body one to the head) and cannot explain to us why he decided after being warned multiple times to STOP, he continued to advance against the defendants.

                I hope this helps you.

To you and everyone else. I always shoot my gun to stop.. never to kill..

You're right. I suppose it's irresponisible of me to say things like that. But fortunately, for all the baddies and defense lawyers out there.. and myself, I do not carry or own a handgun. I keep a shotgun under the bed just in case - and if the s*** hits the fan, in the dark, I think God (or fate - whichever you believe in) is making the life or death decision (although a shotgun in a hallway certainly leans towards :icon_hang:)

I know for a fact that there are permanent homeless living behind the dumpster at that CVS. We also make a lot of calls to the area, specifically that parking lot for random assaults.

we should have a get together, meet-up whatever sometime to learn more about guns and whats the right thing to do, i used to own a handgun when i first move down to texas, then i got rid of it because i felt like i have no need for it, but after what happened in Ike and all the held-ups that is happening in china town this past few months, i really think i need to get it again. i do carry a fighting stick, but i don't think it'll help me out much anymore...
