    I load myself....

    Practice makes perfect.

I'll just hide behind Girlgeek when the time comes. Have you ever seen her mad???

    A. If someone wants to hurt her loved ones
    B. If I take the shot before her

I don't want to see either of those

PS.... Since I have done training and know what it takes to load and shoot just 500 9mm rounds in one day.. I cannot imagine wanting to load personally 2k rounds of 40 and then another 2k of 7.62x39
    Who was shooting full auto?

Try 2k of .40, 300shells of 12ga, 2k rds of 7.62x39 and a couple hundred rds of 9mm in a few hours and then report back about an outing.

I believe both in both methods

When going to "train" I usually shoot no more than 100 rnds.

When going for "fun" with some buddies, you would be surprised how quickly 2000 rounds disappears.

I usually shoot between 20 and 40 rounds when I go with my rifle.
Handgun.. if I had the ammo.. I like to go though about 250 rounds.. but the last time it came down to 50.. costs are just getting outrageous..

the 800 is heavy rifle surplus, i dont go to the gun range often because ammo is sooo expensive. and thats 800 in one caliber, and not a full auto rifle either, im sure you could go through 800 in a bunch of preloaded clips, but why would i need to put that many through a bolt action in a sitting, especially with a steel buttplate, that would be a seriously painful shoulder the next day. im talking about going to put 20-30 rounds through the rifle or less if its shooting fairly tight. maybe a box of 50 or so in .22 through the pistol and maybe that through the rifle, i also need to try out the 30-30 and see if the scope is still sighted in.(its been moved arround a lot so wanna see how its handlin) so all total 90-150 rounds total with 50-100 being cheaper .22, thats my plan for the range. see if the rifles are shooting as straight as i want, and a little practice with the pistol.

tehehehe but try shooting 800 rnds of 7.62 x 54 genius. Your arm will fall off.

I currently carry kahr pm9 with an extra mag or a NAA .22 mag if im riding bike/working out at gym etc.

    Split 800rds?

I use to bring at least that to the range.

also im lookin for bulk clips for the .45, and a .22 conversion kit so when i take it to the range it dooesnt hurt the pocket too much as i beef up my pistol practice, which i need more of before i go and get a CHL.
