Ek -- that place burned down.. I mean completely down to the ground... did they ever rebuild that place ? It was on 1960 just east of 59 up in Humble... I liked the fact that you could take rifles up there, but it became a mute point to go there when the range fee's increased from $11 to 18/hour

I have my CHL and carry an HK USP .40 Compact.
My purse has a built in holster. I highly suggest it for all the ladies out there who carry. I hate having the gun just sloshing around in a regular purse...just doesn't feel very safe.

I'm looking to get a Beretta 92 and probably later on a Springfield .45 cal.
I have several shot guns. Remington Model 1100 automatic 12 gauge and a brake over single shot 20 gauge, and looking to get a hunting rifle soon as well - before next season. Leaning towards a 30.06, but father-in-law has a Browning 7mm that I love.Thanks,

I am looking to pick up a shotgun sometime later this year I hope -- I enjoy shooting Trap and I need to get my own Shotgun. Roomate just picked up a Winchester SX3 -- and he loves it.

I need to work on getting a reloading station setup too.. damn so many things to do... maybe we should get some reloading parties going (since its cheaper that way...) and I know EK would have no problems being there... Heineken and reloading... a perfect way to spend an afternoon in the garage for :)

Shooter's Station is about 5 miles west of 45 on 105...
For me the Sig P250 trigger pull is about the same maybe a lb more for the first shot...don't remember the specs. It is a nice carry size but still fits my hand. I tried the Springfield XD compact, but without the extended mag, it is too small for my hand215g Malawi Peacocks and Mbuna

I stopped in Jim Pruitts gun shop....boy, they must be having a sale, there's practically standing room only in there...folks are buying guns like there's no tomorrow....you all aint the only one's packing....
I didn't fell like hangin around to do the paperwork, but man o man, I seen one guy spend 62 bucks on two boxes of ammo...
Maybe they all want to be part of that cilvilian security force that BO spoke about?

I guess people aren't really thinking this out. All you need is 1 gun, and 1 clip. When the world falls apart, just use that to "double up", and then repeat.

I still have the old standby...S & W M&P .38. Virtually no one shoots the wheel guns any more. For long range touch-ups I use a Remington 700VLS chambered in .308. My best bud is a gunsmith in LaMarque. He loads my rounds.
