Gotta love the second choice weapon, thats an interesting question, when there isnt the shotgun or the pistol next to your bed what do others keep right by, my personal fav to have next to the bed, (right now there are 4 weapons right there, a 7 inch blade dive knife{a balanced thrower}, a cold steel long hunter{got about a 8 inch blade} a mini bat, and a 10 inch bladed Bowie knife, gonna have to say the bowie is my fav of those, but sometimes the machete sleeps next to me too)

of course if they catch me next to the bathroom, thats where the REAL blades are kept, and its hard for a guy to say much with 20 plus inches of steel through him. or missing a limb or head

Sn, look into some low recoil slugs man. I have mine with 3 00 TAP buck and then 3 low recoil slugs.

Went into pruetts again today, kinda like them AR jobs too....now it's starting to get expensive. They said at the store, that the guys at the gun shows are raising their prices to take advantage of the demand, do you all agree, that gun show prices are up ?

True, but Ill still take my chances homie. If he hears my shotgun, and still decides he wants to engage and I cannot stop him with 3 shots of bird and 3 shots of buckshot, I deserve to die. These 6 shots SHOULD be enough to get me to another weapon of course.

You are really nice to give them 3 shots before the real action starts, My first shot is bird followed by buckshot & slugs, I thought i would be nice w/ the first shot!!

i had an update to my gun list. the total is now, 1x RIA 1911 .45, 1x .22 sig saur mosquito pistol, 1x marlin 336 lever action 30-30, 1x remmington 1300 16 gauge shotgun, 1x .22 semi- rifle, 1x 1938 model nagant carbine (thats the one without the integral bayonet), 1x SKS rifle (no mods done to it yet, dont know if i will, besides maybe a low power scope), 1x cz-52 pistol in 7.62x25mm calibre (made 1954), and by the end of the week a bersa thunder in .380. and now maybe a little mouse gun( a .25 auto, only cus im gettin it super super cheap, kinda for the heck of it.)

im likin this trend in lever action 30-30's whether they are marlin or winchester. maybe its because we in Texas lol. i think its cool that Texas Rangers can carry and are given custom 1911's.
