Around San Marcos New Braunfils or Canyon Lake you can find holey rock. It is illegal to take any rock or wood out of a park. Be it city state or nat. ... But I know people have done it...

If you need some more of the holey rock. Let me know I have some big peases.

Throughout Austin you can find places that have open areas that arent parks that have outcrops of limestone everywhere. Apt complex businesses and so on.

Indeed, I spot it everywhere in San Marcos. Not very quality pieces, but they work and at the cost of free its hard to complain...

The restaurants usually have really nice pieces.

I had a bout 12 pieces. The smallest about 25 lbs the biggest about 50lbs. But I left them outside of my apartment when I moved last year. I should go check if any are still left. They were really nice pieces like EK's just bigger. The heaviest one didn't look too pretty as it looked more like bone than the others. I found all of them outside while I lived in San Antonio
