I let it cycle for about 30 minutes. I took a lot of things from my old tank and put it into this tank like all of the plants. I also transfered my 2262 straight to the new tank and started to run it. Best way to cycle the tank IMO if you can. I also added a bottle of Seachem Stability for precaution.

Nice tank. What did you do to cycle your tank? How long did you let it cycle for before you added fish?

lol, well it's not like a surprise or anything.
But yeah, I couldn't help it and had to put it out there.

I am thinking about 10 - 14 only with a ton of tetras. The dimensions are 72x36x30. The whole thing stands about 8 feet high with canopy and my guess weighs about 1.5 tons. The amazing part is its held up by 7 2x4's and 3/4" plywood all around.

That tank and layout is awesome!
I would definatly get like 2x 150 watt halides.
I got mine, and I wil never go back to regular flourescents.
How many discus do you plan on kepping in this tank?

So I guess we won't be seeing any more pics of a half-naked Darbex inside his tank again anytime soon!
