Hi friends,
It's been a while since I posted last. I have the Discus community tank and I've posted a lot of images through the years.
Well after nearly three years in the world of raising Discus in a community environment I'm considering going a different route.
Currently I have 5 blue diamond and scorpion large adult discus, 2 male and 3 females. I have 2 Surinemensis Geos and 2 Juraparis. 6 Rams, 50 hatchetfish, and 100 black neons and 1 dwarf pike
My tank is the 150G deep dimension and its filtered by 2 Fx6s and 2 Eheim 2217s. My 36W UV is offline and broke. I've ordered a new one on its way from Amazon.
I've decided to research replacing all my Discus with other large cichlids that are hearty, colorful and interesting.
Can you all give some advice on stock choices. My focus has been entirely centered around Discus high maintenance needs up to this point. I'm now willing to try something new and different.
I'd like to make the stock change within the next month. Run another 6 months in the world of freshwater then I plan to trade up and go saltwater.
