It is not settled... wow bro...lol... settled means clear water no bacteria bloom... your tank is going through bacteria bloom... yea part of it can be the fish but thats only a fraction of it... those fishes arnt blender they dont eat their own feces and create that cloudy water... ima prove it to you when i get my big tank... lol

I can attest that my O tank is the messiest I have. They just shred their food & it goes everywhere! The other fish don't even try to eat until the O's have demolished what I put in. They don't have to even try, the food comes to them, lol. Combine that with the enormous poops from the O's (which look like mice size sausage links), the pleco (miles and miles of poop), the parrots poop, & the gouramis who seem to poop like machine gun fire and, before I removed the substrate, I was doing a daily vacuuming & top off, 50% water change every other week & a 100% water change a month just to keep up. It helped tremendously to remove the substrate and lay slate! Much easier on me & the water is much more clear.

Same here, but minus the gourami. I've been meaning to do 100% water changes every 2-3 days but I got a bit busy so ended up not doing a water change a while.

You failed to mention what settles faster which is why I asked. The tank or the fish? I just introduced new fish and the tank is also new. I know now that you meant the tank. There is a slight bacteria bloom because of the new tank, I put that HOB and the media I had on the old tank in to help with that since they both already have established bacteria.

I'm going to take a video of when I feed them. You will see that they munch on the food and spit it out.

What fish are you going to prove it with? If it's trophs, petros, or any other vegetarian Imma slap you!

The only reason I mention trophs and petros is because you were planning on getting red bulus for your bigger tank and I've seen trophs and petros for several years. They do not munch food, they tear at food and swallow that shhh

I don't have enough money for more filtration bro. I just dropped $160 on the tank, $140 on more fish. That wet/dry is good enough for now, as I mentioned earlier.

I was just joking about the slapping part. Why in the world would I hit anyone over something posted on the internet? I don't remember anywhere on here that I mentioned that I was mad. But seeing how the name calling is starting, I see someone is starting to get butt hurt.

Edit: Also dropped money on supplies to repair stand, repaint stand/trim, clean tank, new light bulbs (all together spent a good $70, bulbs $40, supplies $30). That's already $370 spent on the tank plus some others not mentioned.

I know you're tank is clean. It has to be with only one fish and a 2217 on it. That's super filtration already as is. My 100gal is running only a wet/dry that barely filters the tank. I think I'm fine for now. WC every 2-3 days will do until I get my 2262s

Maybe.. His dome hasn't popped from the massivore? Tried feeding live?

your excuses are just looping each others... and uhh correction it was a 2215 before i changed it out to a AC50 with no filter flaws... oo and uhhh like i said maybe 1 WC in this tank in what a month or two now i believe and also i fed it 2 massivores 10 minutes prior to the the pictures... as i stated in the beginning... invest in equipt before investing in more fish... less water change= less of bill +smells reduces or goes away...

back to the topic... I just fed the monsters and the bass finally jumped for the carnisticks! They splashed water everywhere. The Os didn't really eat though, but the other day they were digging in as well! The video is uploading and I will post the vid shortly.
