I've had Bacopa flower out of this tank. I'm going to add more swords, going to hope they flower.

Just a piece of driftwood I picked up in Vietnam during the winter for 2 bucks or the tree in the back is some semi aquatic shrubbery i took home from work.

Amazon swords have really nice flowers... you should try a tiger lotus, I have heard they have really nice flowers

I'll probably pick up some green tiger lotus. They're really colourful.

Imo I think the red tiger lotus is a little nicer... but just my 2 cents

It probably is. I have yet to see it flower, I've seen the green ones flowered.

Pm danielp... he used to have a ton of red tiger lotus. Not sure if he still does though

I have a Red Tiger Lotus right now. I got it to flower, but I've been neglecting the tank for a while so the leaves keep deteriorating from too much light and not enough nutrients. It really is nice. IMO much nicer than green tiger lotus.

Several times, but there isn't enough nutrients for it, so the stems deteriorate one by one. I'm taking it out and moving it today.

Update!
More and more plants! Still got about 2 feet of space for more plants! I got a bunch of swords added. Did a big trim down of the rotala.
Also added 15 nerite snails, 5 plecos, and a pair of orange head cory something. My MBU doesn't like eating nerites, so a bonus.
