      You can act up along with the potting soil and layer some dry ferts from your brothers stash and it'll run rampant!

      Drop some potassium in excess.

        at the bottom it has MIRACLE GROW and FLOURISH TAB!!!... so i think its good... lol

                  i have used miracle grow shrub and tree stakes (when i dont need to worry about algae) for growing emersed plants hydrponically, i forget why i used those particular ones...there must have been something better in the nutrient make up.

                  not to be nagative about your pretty new labs...but they will play havoc on a planted tank when they get old enough to start digging spawn sites. mine even liked to nip the leaves off of crypts so they could chase them...i had to find them new homes eventually.

                    as you havent notice i had put "as a delay" and also notice its bare bottom that means i havent even begin to settle the DIY soil b/c i have to wait on HC... when that comes in i will put them with the rest of my cichlids... i know what these fish can do...lol

                      k, just sayin. i tried them in mine cuz i like them so much but the crazy things kept excavating under driftwood and dropping it on themselves

                              TOO G BRO!!! i would roll like that if i had the money... would've run every combination i can think up... like rubbermaid pond full of CRS, CBS, and neon tetra with 3 MH blazing on top to grow HC on the the whole substrate and also with a couple big seriyu rocks sticking out the water to make a waterfall... OOOO YEAA NOW THATS GANGSTA!!! LOL
