great wood, looks like a dragon. i used to use unflavored gelatin but it prolly doesnt matter...just less variables to go wrong. i'm curious about the brown sugar since i am not sure why that would be eaten any more slowly since they are both sucrose. brown sugar is white sugar with molasses and some water added to it so it actually has less caloric value per volume than white table sugar. it might be interesting to try dextrose (which is a slower assimilating starch in human digestion) or fructose (which is assimilated by humans more quickly so maybe mold can use it more efficiently). the yeasts i tried in order of efficiency seemed to be breadmakers -> brewers -> wine making. add some chardonay to your strawberry jello lol. i posted a cool DIY CO2 website link in the DIY section recently.

Next time fill the tube with sand to keep it from collapsing, a hair drier would work better too to keep the heat from being concentrated in one spot.

ehh bended my U tube just fine... this one i was rushing... lol... hairdryer takes a hella long time... heat gun will be perfect but i dont have one... lol

Next time fill the tube with sand to keep it from collapsing, a hair drier would work better too to keep the heat from being concentrated in one spot.

nice job bending the tube, the bend looks good. i have bent it at work (for chemical analyzers) while i had it clipped into a 45 degree tubing bracket that i bought at home depot. they have a really long radius bend so that you dont have a loss of flow, but then the long radius doesnt go over the tank too well for a 180. i used a heat gun to blow hot air down the tube so it heated up from the inside out. filling with sand is a good isea too, i will have to try that one day. when i saw "rigid" tubing i thought you meant steel. that was my craft before i went into the engineering group, i used to run all my co2 line is stainless steel lol.

NOICE!!! yea there many other ways of bend tube but i didnt have access to those thing... i have excess to lighters b/c half my family smokes and tubing was cheap... lol

i read about growing HC emmersed as a good tactic, but have never done it. you are almost there with this setup! i think they lower the water level and then put plastic wrap over the top of the tub for most of the day to trap co2 in there, it might be worth researching
