i know this is supposed to go under the retail section but i thought it would get more views in tis forum. i live around the corner from fish and pet ranch off almeda genoa and i have had enough of them today i had a horrible experiance and im now done. i went in there every few weeks with a friend of mine some times we buy stuff other times we dont . i went in there a few weeks with out him and the owners wife made the comment oh your by yourself today you didnt bring your friend and i replied no just me today she then said something that was beyond rediculas and i quote "good he never buys anything he is a 100% nightmare just looks never buys" i blew it off and thought nothing of it. i hit the place up for feeders once a week and the occasional fish. Last time i was in there she told me oh i bet your just looking you never buy anything. i stoped going for a while then today i went in there and i bought 2 bucks worth of feeders and gave her $3 she got the change out of the register and threw it on the counter and walked away. i am never going back to this store. i like the place and its so convenant but its not worth it has anybody else had any problem with this place?

I have been to that store in the past it was better than now.  lately I have found it disgusting. His tanks are so overstocked, full of dying and or dyed fish. The smell is awful. The first time I went in tehre years back there was another customer having a fight with the wife over a bird he bought that had died.

That is great  or you could tell her that you want that one special feeder fish in the group of 200 and just keep changing your mind everytime she finally catches it.

Nick, the lfs I won't go back too is in Beaumont. I don't even know the name of the place. I've only been there once. The owner was a total a**.
He told me that he knows what kind of system I have because of where I normally shop. So I told him to tell me what I have. He was
wrong on the sump, powerheads & overflow. Three strikes! Then that's when he told me I was doing everything wrong and I was going to kill
all my fish. And that he would not sell me any fish if I wanted to buy some because I didn't know what I was doing, but if I did what he told me
to do then I wouldn't have any problems. Well I don't trust what he said to do. I have 3 puffers in my tank and I do water changes twice weekly.
He told me to do a 10% water change once a month. 8O If I did that my nitrates would probally go through the roof. Maybe he didn't realize that
puffers are messy fish. I'm still doing what I always did and it's working out fine. My fish are healty and happy.

Make sure you take in a 20 pound pacu with that inch and a half feeder. That should smooth it over.
