i have had large clown loaches in planted tanks and for the most part it works out okay. stick to plants with good root systems or those that you can tie down and you wont have to do much maintenance. the only plant that i had issues with were valisneria runners, blyxa would probably also not be a good one to add. swords and crypts are pretty hard to pull up once established. CL definately love eating MTS so they would probably take baby tylos at least.

The tylos went into the shrimp tank. I don't think my gold spotted tylos are breeding so it shouldn't make a difference. I was going to stick to swords and crypts so it sound slike that should work out.

All I wanted to do last night was scape my new shrimp tank but to get the main driftwood piece out of the bottom tank I had to break down the rack. To break down the rack I had to take down my puffer tank and move him to his new tank but first I had to move over the fish that were in that tank to my big tank. Bit off waaaay more than I wanted to chew but once it was started I had to complete it.

I've got the tank scaped I just need to change out the light and I'll take a pic.

Only had enough money right now to get either angels or cyps and I went with the angels. Picked up 15 WC Scalare from HAW yesterday. They are looking good in the tank but I think I'm going to have to take down one of my powerheads. I can turn down the Sicce but the Tunze is about 3500 GPH which I think is too much for them. I used it for trophs and saltwater so it was still in the tank. I also added 10 multi shellies which disappeared into the crevices in the rocks. I need to get some shells for them but they seem to like the rocks just fine.

Angels don't like high flow. They swim to slow.
                      +1 pictures please

The Angels seem to be out more after I took out one powerhead. I added my shoal of 10 clown loaches I got from Robert last night. I need to tweak the scape a bit. I was going to take some pics last night but it was pretty late once Robert's debacle of a deal finally wrapped up and we got something to eat.
