Oddball/Impulse tank

The decor has magic abilities... I had them in my 30g tropheus tank sump and now I have 50+ trophs running around and 4females holding.

I dont know if it's a magical 30g or the decor but we shall see. I have stuffed this 20g with all the collected species and all I had from other tanks and will see how it goes.

They were right at the sand bed surface since I only dipped against the banks trying to get the pygmy sunfish.

I will try and overfeed the tank with my crush boraras mix in attempt to keep them alive. Hopefully they dont die and nuke the tank cause I've got some expensive fish being housed in that tank.

I hear ya! Good luck, I know depth of substrate will play factor as they get larger. They will continue to try to bury deeper. But it depends on there size and how large they will grow.

Yeah the one I saw pictures of was a coconut roof house so I figured this was close enough.

Now to get a hold of some of sunkenmetals red claw shrimp!

Quoc, I kept some of those clams alive for about a year. I used flake food and algae flakes crushed to a fine powder that they could pick up with their syphons. With enough of them in the tank, they'll clear murky water amazingly fast. You also might try stirring up the bottom from time to time to release small particles for them to eat.

Yea they are still for sale... I sold the moss so I closed the thread. The red claws are breeding right now one female is already berried.
