I had a large number of green neon tetra in my 210 for a while...looked great at first but became very boring....most tetras have little to no personality. They do school well, but for me that has limited entertainment value. They are great as dither fish and help to add depth/color to the tank.
I think the personality of a fish is often more attractive than his fins or bright colors....a good example is the chocolate cichlid, great fish!....and highly underrated IMO.15g column BB low-tech driftwood/planted - Dwarf Puffer Tank :lupe:

Interesting. I did a little reading. They mention that they are very compatiable with Uaru's. I had Uarau's years ago and to this day I think it's one of the coolest fish out there.Originally posted by Matt in Houston View PostI think the personality of a fish is often more attractive than his fins or bright colors....a good example is the chocolate cichlid, great fish!....and highly underrated IMO.
Haven't seen Chocolates around much lately.

Interesting. I kept these guy's years ago.Originally posted by Bluefyre_Rob View PostShowing up late after the party's over, as usual; but here's my suggestion:
Paratheraps Synspilum
Also Black Belt Cichlid
I may just go simple school. Not many people are doing the simple stuff these days. A tank of Rainbow's or Gouramis like I've seen surfing around have a lot of appeal.
