Discus vs Trophs/Petros

Tropheus are energetic, boisterous, comical, aggressive, playful, territorial, and make me want to make a little aquarium purse so I can carry them around with me all the time.

Discus are regal, shy, majestic, calm, elegant, and make me want to dress them up in little tiaras and admire them.

Wow discus seem to be taking a bashing here. LOL I have quite a few discus thay seem to be king in my book. Everyone here seems to be into trophs. Although my wife and I were able to see NEWBS trophs and wow thay are quite nice. I think its a toss up IMO.

Discus to me are like my Frontosa, slow and tranquil, very peaceful fish, I have them on one side of the room and my Troph tank on the other. Its like heavy metal music on one and old school rock on the other. I love them both, its like a lays chip you cant just eat one.

I am going with the discus....I have always loved them, the color,beauty, an grace they have...calms you just to watch them flow with the plants.

i have both and have thought about selling the trophs more than once but selling the discus has never crossed my mind they are breeding in both tanks but i am more excited to see the discus fry than the troph fry i like the greenery in the discus tank which i cant put in the troph tank and the peacefullness of the discus but it is awesome to watch the trophs eat but im gonna have to say the discus are my favorite
