Just leave the babies in there...the strong ones will swim away from danger, and the moms will learn that the babies are not food. Feed, watch, enjoy!Originally posted by jarrodaden View PostYes, but I wish she had waited until I was ready.... I am busier than a one armed paper hanger.BEWARE Guard GUPPIES On Duty!

Lilmiss - any thoughts on the frequency and size of water changes? On my other tanks I usually do about 25% weekly.Jarrod - Houston, Texas

WC's do about 2x per week, at least 1x is a must for healthy happy fishes. And 10-25% is plenty as long as the tank is not overstocked. As the babies get bigger, you will need to do WC's about every other day of 10-25%.Originally posted by jarrodaden View PostLilmiss - any thoughts on the frequency and size of water changes? :( I'm sorry! :(
I've seen them do that before, actually. I worked at a pet store in Florida and we used UGFs and pea gravel. It seemed that the only livebearer babies that would actually hide IN the gravel were the mollies - no matter how many other hiding places I provided. Weird... But they always seemed to do okay, as long as I watched where the gravel vac went. :)"Millennium hand and shrimp!"

Still having ammonia issues after backing down on feeding and doing a water change.
The food I am using for the fry is Kyorin Hikari "Little Bites". Mom is getting TetraMin flakes. I don't know what is causing the spikes.Jarrod - Houston, Texas

My mollies had a bunch of babies... and I just realized I haven't seen any since my last water change. I thought they were just hiding in the holey rock.Originally posted by Mzungu View Post:( I'm sorry! :(
