    ooo i forgot to mention that the water is cold... lol... no heater yet... waiting on Ek friend to reply to my offer... =DD... feeders are going into a 70 degree tank... HAHAHA!!!

      i think ima do a break off valve for the pump so it can work at 100% rather than making it hold pressure... tmw is the plan to do it... and ima rid the feeders and try to pick up the HEATER!!! so i can bring my tank home already... lol

              The other one was a single LED but with a better reflector right? This one has a ton of LEDs and it actually projects that into the water.

              The shimmer is nice though.

                no... the other one has alot of led its just a lower tone of light instead of bright white...

                  dude!!! i found a strainer that will fit the overflow perfectly!!! now i need a couple more things and hopefully the fix will put the beast in quiet mode!!!! lol

                        finally brought the beast home!!! lets see what my parents say tmw... =X... lol its actually not that loud (just sounds like a hummmmm) and when i send off the dimensions to john it would pretty much be quiet... =)

                          Have you guys done a power out test on the overflow? If the siphon doesn't start back up by itself after a power outage, the return pump will send the contents of the sump into the main tank and not get any back... Big mess.

                            That was my main concern but eventually that worked itself out. My only concern now is if the overflow would ever be clogged cause the size of it leaves little room for error.

                              i will flush the overflow once a month... hopefully the fish store sells something to declog the overflow and is also aquarium safe... some that kills of then algae strands or whatever...lol... hey Q you want to go to fish gallery today?
