I keep a 40G breeder in my garage. It's for emergencies, fry, etc. I just like knowing that I have a spare.

i might have to go with bigger pvc pipes for the overflow so i can be more efficient... i got it to work today... but it cycles only 3-4 power outage/water change scenario test and then it stop the siphon... i figured there might be air leaks from the joints so tmw i will be gluing all the joints together then test it again... i will asking questions tmw if it does work 100% =D

With that much flow, I'd look into makin' that a stiphodon tank. There are some extremely cool gobies that like high flow and appreciate lots of algae growth.

Those look awesome and would probably be very interesting to observe, Mark but I don't think there's enough flow to mimic a stream nor nearly enough lighting to promote and sustain algae growth.

I've seen these before I think at FG but never really looked into them till now and they've definitely got me intrigued!

Yeah, I'm seriously toyin' with the idea of turnin' my 125 into a stiphodon tank with several species. I have a buddy in NY from Aquaria Central who has a big stiph tank and it is one of the coolest setups I've seen.

I *loved* my stiphodons but never had the best luck. I'm thinking of doing another tank maybe later this year with angels, rams, and then trying my luck again with stiphodons. This time I'll have Mark to help me out!!

I'm thinking this would become a very interesting biotope tank.
