added 6-7 ml ammonia this morning to get ammonia back up to 3ppm. tested for nitrItes and finally got them at .25ppm. will test again tonight.

Added 50 drops of ammonia yesterday morning and 100 last night to get ammonia back up to 3ppm. I've been doing this for 6 days and still no nitrITES. Guess it will happen soon.

    John,
Put some perimeter bracing on that lid, it will bow without it.
All acrylic will at some point, its just the reaction to the water.

Yes, that blade cuts acrylic like butter. the tops are going on today. not to soon it's evaporating about 5 gallons a day. No nitrITES yet. need some bio spira but if the lfs will sell me a 5 yr old test kit I don't think that I could trust their bio spira.

Btw.. I am cleaning the wet/dry I got from Delock.. holy smokes there is a ton of salt in it.. hehe -- well the wet/dry has 48 quarts (12g) bio area, making it equivalent to a Pro/clear 400. I am thinking it should handle a 180 pretty well :) :) :)

I will see you on Sunday !!

You can easy see when the Nitrite bacteria blooms.. its the bacteria that will make the water look white..
