Ive got this WC texas cichlid, and its got stuff on its fins and its body that im not sure what it is,hes the oonly that has it,hes sharing a tank with a couple of other wc texas all under 3 inches,
its a 20 gallon aquarium im thinking about putting him a 2.5 gallon by himself.

Although the picture is a little fuzzy........it look like Ich to me as well.

It's hard to tell from the pic. My guess would be ich and aggression. Looks like something tried to eat him and he got really stressed leading to ich.

okay thanks guys, my heater seems to have stopped working ive raised it to 81 and the glass still feels cold any other way to speed up the life cycle

What life cycle? You must mean Nitrogen cycle. Raising the temp won't make your fish grow faster... Does the heater have enough watts? If the heater isn't warming the tank, I'd remove it.

i think its 150 watts,it was for up to 90 gallons.I meant the cycle of the ich, doesnt heat speed it up and if you raise the temp enough the ich just dies?

General rule of thumb for heaters is 3-5 watts per gallon, but here in Houston, 3 watts is good enough. It's best to split the total wattage needed with two heaters (i.e. instead of a 300w heater for 100g, use two 150w heaters). If you get the temp up to 86 it'll stop reproduction. Salt will kill it. Constant water changes (every day or every other day) is necessary to remove the ich from the tank.

Probably just ich. It can transfer from fish to fish if they're immune system is low which is generally when they're stressed from being transported, water params, etc.
