That's terrible. I'm really sorry to hear that.

Does anyone know what could cause something like that? I just bought an Aqueon water changer and started doing big water changes, and I also live in the med center... makes me think twice about keeping it up.

    ^^^ Ditto.

I'm so sorry this happened, but you took good care of those fishies, it wasn't your fault. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help, whatever you decide.

How many fish can I get for $5? They're silver dollars so a dollar a piece for those right?

Hopefully that brought a smile to your face as it was meant in jest. If not, I'm sorry, I'm a jerk.

sorry to hear this bee, hopefully you will be able to give it some time and reconsider the sale. selling the tank wont mean that you will just forget about the loss. recreating it into something more beautiful might.

Bee, I'm sorry for your loss. I know you feel bad now but, you will get over this. If you do this long enough. You will have losses and the last one is just as hard as the first. You know so much about the hobby and you are a smart person. Don't sale your tank. It will be hard to replace. If you do, you will want another one someday.
I enjoy reading your happier posts. you give sound advice. Now everyone on here and I, hope you take our advice. Your heart will stop hurting and tomorrow will bring a new day. But there is only one YOU!
    Troy

Please don't give up, Bee. You'll have an even bigger empty spot in your life & in your home if you do. Take a break & a deep breath. Once you get started again, you will regenerate the passion for the hobby & fall madly in lurve with your new fishies. Live & learn, girlie. We all do it. I'm so sorry.

Sorry to hear about your losses. Been there many a time.

Instead of getting rid of everything, maybe buy a tote to drain your old water into. Then if anything goes wrong after a wc, fish go in the tote till you can fix it.
