i added a air pump in the tank when i started treating the tank but usually my tank is around 80-82 my heater is set at 79 but water is always around 81-82 on both my digital/floating thermometers. at night it drops to around 81ish mornings/afternoon its around 81.5-82
i add 1.5 cup of epsom salt when i do a 60-70% wc.
feeding dainichi fx baby pellet out of the eheim feeder(2 clicks open) i think i have it set for 8x a day.

with the higher temps make sure you have enough oxygen going through the tank.
also try and feed whatever is eating metro soaked foods to prevent any further problems.
If you are gonna use epsom use 1tbsp/5g any less you are just wasting epsom so save till you have a problem to use it.
what are you feeding and how frequent/how much?

Keep temps around 78 - 80 in the main tank. Higher temps get them cranked up pretty tight.Last edited by SunnyHouTX; 05-24-2012, 02:07 PM.

The vid almost looks normal, what am I not seeing?
Is the poop thread like stringy or clear opaque jelly stringy?

Metro should take care of it with the proper dosage and also lights out and let them be undisturbed to reduce stress while they recover.

Par for the course. Treat and put them back. Might wanna reduce the number of features in the tank if this is a long standing issue. Less territories to fight over.

Size is juvi to adult. Biggest male is like 4-5in. It's just the juvi having the problem
