yes these are the simos from the 10g

I didn't do anything.....
I put a large powerhead in the tank and they were fine for almost 10 hours, I woke up the next morning to a tank full of dead simos:(

I really really liked these fish!

Honestly, these were the first fish I have kept that I liked as much as geos.
I would never kill a pet/pets just cause indidnt
want them?

If anything, I would have brought
them back to the original owner John.

I was in the process of
working out a deal with someone for a larger tank for these little guys.

I was as sad losing these as I was
losing my 13 wc Geos during
Ike.

dam man,thats blows both variants are cool............and the only thing you changed was the power head?,was it used,or off lets say a planted setup?,i once bought a used filter,off a planted tank,cleaned it too what i though was real good,with out going to the point of just running it on a rubbermaid for a few days with the tank water its going in,which i do now lol,almost wiped out one of my community tang tanks,learned a real lesson there...........
