I got mine at Lowes....in the water filtration department. Its a large clear plastic canister and uses large carbon filters that you replace every 3 to 6 months depending on usage. The brand I have is made by Whirlpool.....it was the largest one of that type I could find...oh and the carbon filter is sold seperately.

Then head over to the pvc plumbing department and buy the fittings that will allow you to hook it up to some clear tubing and youre done. All you need are a couple of threaded reducers and two brass nipples so you can slide the hoses on. No need to fill with the python...just use the carbon bottle so buy enough hose to reach from your sink to the tank. Also buy a faucet fitting so you can slide the clear hose on to your sink.

Some people build long carbon filled hoses that are no doubt much more efficient but in my area its just not needed at this time. I just add a half dose of prime at the start of my fill incase I miss anything.
