    And some updates on the dam. Looks like its gonna happen and we are going to lose some really nice wild plecos. :(

    There is another group that might start breeding too.

    From what I've read, The first sign of activity is the female moving about the entrance of the males cave. The male will guard the entrance at this point. This may carry on for anywhere between an hour or a day.

    The female will then be enticed into the cave by the male where she will stay for anywhere up to 4 or 5 days. The male will then block the entrance of the cave.

    If you look at the pictures I just posted, the smaller zebra is a female and she moves around the male's cave. The male just sits in front and blocks the entrance. Hopefully, in a few days he will let her in and keep her there to lay eggs.

    Nope, still nothing. But I got a smaller male trying to trap a bigger female in a cave right now. Been going on for two days now so maybe something will come from it.
