First like to say, thats quite a tank.

How close is the canopy to the ceiling?
Got a picture with the canopy open?

Normally the female holds the first week or two I believe and if you are lucky you will see them swap... .after that the male holds to term.

I'm guessing that's why this is in the guest bedroom and no other room that is not on the first floor!
