when cichlidfan and i had them it was so strange.....we didn't give the babies anything special...but the parents tended to this on their own....all of a sudden a little patch of what we thought was fungus would appear....the babies fed off this until they were big enough to grap a piece of NLS that we threw in there.....it was really cool to watch them....and we didn't disturb the area that appeared ....but we watched the babies eat out of it .....they are so cute.....
all of our "gang"....seemed to have a breeding family.....several females watched over the wee ones....and the males parolled the parameter....it is a sight to see.....and if one of the bunch "ticks" off one of the males they didn't kill it but they did exile it to the other side of the tank and to the top of the water....we finally had to remove it and it started over in another tank.....but they do rule the roost in a tank when they start breeding.....

will do  8) looking really nice after they got used to their surroundings. hopefully the tank will be filled with babies soon.  :wink:

lol cant upload any till i find the freaking usb cord  :(. i think my dog ate it.  8O will continue teh search tommorrow.
