Re: 150 Gallon Tanganyikan Tank
Last night I started treating with Clout after performing a 50% water change.
I feed them NLS 1mm pellets and a 50/50 mix of spirulina and tropical flake once daily.

Re: 150 Gallon Tanganyikan Tank
Tim,
I had 2-Ectodus with white-stringy poop that possibly started a Bloat outbreak in my 300 gallon.
I ended up loosing 3-Ectodus over the entire event. The white stringy poops guys 2 died almost imediately and the other died after his guts came out of his body for about a week, then died.
I used Clout to treat the tank and all the Fish are 100% recoverd. It took about 7 days for that to occur.
I would get the pond version of CLout 1-tablet per 100 gallons and treat using that for a week. Perform a 50% water change to start off, and then perform a 30% every 3rd day or so.
What food are you feeding them?

Re: 150 Gallon Tanganyikan Tank
Tim -- reading from www.fishyfarmacy.com/fish_diseases/eyes.html
Swelling and redness surround the outside of the eye
a). Could be an injury from decor inside the tank or pond
Treat with Nitrofuracin Green to expedite healing
b). Gram-negative bacterial infection
Treat with Gentamycin
I dont know if this helps or not ?

Re: 150 Gallon Tanganyikan Tank
Tim -- Btw if you are looking for a camera that is going to do the same thing there are only two camps you will fall into.
I am a Canon Fan and have for years...
I would recommend you look at the new Canon Rebel XSi or if you want to go with the last model (still considered current) the Canon Rebel XTi
Traci already recommend a great lens and I am now thinking I need to get the same one :)
