If you keep downing those tacos and tequila, I'm sure it'll be looking much, much better! LOL!

There's just a little improvement, but not much yet. Let's see how tomorrow goes. Keep us updated!

Tough to tell, but slight improvement after 24 hours. The water is less green, but I'm not sure its any more clear. I'm due for a water change tomorrow, so day 3 might be a big day on the path to clear water

Thank you! And they're tough as nails. Mine has been with me through all kinds of things. He's a bit shy so I don't see him hanging out all the time, but I truly adore him. I don't know how long they live, but when his time comes, I am certain I'll get another one. My tank wouldn't be the same without him!

Oh I know Fish Gallery is on the high end - I just haven't seen any at the other stores I've visited
I've been banned by my ex/not-ex/whatever from City Pets lol

I have had a Flash Pleco (L204) in my 75g planted for years. It's really beautiful! You should be able to find a source for one that's less than $50. Fish Gallery is probably the most expensive LFS around.

Any ideas on a flashier pleco I could add? With all the color I've got in the cichlids, I think it would be a shame to have a standard (or bristle nose)
. I know that they tend to inhabit more acidic and softer waters in the wild, but it looks like people have had a lot of success keeping them in African tanks.
Fish Gallery wants $50 or so for their Royals or Gold Nuggets. Any other suggestions? Thanks

It's still early. It takes 1-2 days, usually, sometimes even more. Your water should be looking good some time this weekend. Then you can enjoy your beer in celebration!
