Dunno what day I'm going to Mike's but he's free most evenings next week, I think. Was gonna ask him about either Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday.

    Holla!

A couple hundred shells and they were like like groundhogs... only poking up occassionally and only out far to grab food.
From what I hear, the stappersii are the second most aggressive out of all the shellies. I'll add more shells but they're gonna move them to wherever they want and bury the rest. So we'll see. I'm excited to have them! Next week I'll go to Mike's in Spring to pick 'em up.

    The more the merrier!

The reason I need to have something breaking the line of sight from one side to the other is in case I end up with 2 stappersii males, or 2 pairs. I originally tried having all the wood on the left reaching to the middle, but it wouldn't work if I had 2 males in there.

Thanks. And you're right about the livestock... already the furcatus are loving the scape. We'll see how the stappersii do.

Vicki, I took out the middle branching piece like you said, and the tank ended up looking really empty, despite the rocks. I think for now I'll leave it as is since the fish love it so much... and maybe it'll grow more on me later.

BTW, I finally recharged the Purigen I got from eklikewhoa. Amazing stuff!! Less than 24 hours, and all my tannins are gone and the water looks beautiful. Yay!

Dude... you gonna be at the GHAC party? I'll bring the rock for you with a little bow on it, and then you can name it. I personally feel he looks like a Fred, but it's up to you. )
