I'm almost positive that those fish come from the same supplier. If you feed them red food they will turn red. People over there feed specific foods to bring out colors.

Thanks dudes. They're actually not red though, these are the "white" setting, but the spectrum is a mixture of white, blue, and red. Either way, it lights these guys up

i agree they looked great under the led floods but these red lights are like a highlighter on them

Lol yes Phuong, the lighting is definitely the biggest key. Any pure white I use washes out their color.

Augusto, I'm almost positive the video you posted is of higher quality German fish, which we rarely get our hands on here, and when we do, the price is outrageous. These fish were all purchased for less than 10 a piece, compared to the fish in the video, which were probably purchased for more than 30 a piece. I definitely don't have the same connects as Oliver Knott!

Thanks everyone! These guys are growing daily. Recently switched out my cool white floodlights with some RGBs, and the colors are insane on these fish!
