Tonight I'll be picking up 3 Geophagus Altifrons

I understand. Still worried about build up underneath the rocks though. More rocks will come, but not for a little while. Also don't like the idea of my fish being cramped. I say that and I've got more than to many in my 72.

Also gotta keep in mind there's gonna be close to 40 fish in here averaging at 6" before I'm done.

The more fish, the more rocks you can get away with. Five fish with a lot of scape, you will see them less if they decide to hide. 40 fish, chances are you'll see them alot even if theres a lot of rocks.

Mamma picked what she liked. Have different sizes, there in the 55 right now. Gonna go back to rock yard later. Like I said I don't want to have to much on the ground that bacteria will build up under. I'll get more but not many. Yeah I'm with Thai. Too symmetrical and not enough variation in the scape and rock size. Maybe the catfish is your best friend with helping you figure out the best scape.

Just wondering why you went with the rocks you got in there.

I would pick some more random size rocks and mix them up. Uniform size and uniform spacing looks a bit unnatural.

Stupid catfish. I liked it the way it was and now I've gotta deal with it like this. Not bad but I liked it better the first time.😡
